Opening Title Sequence for Current Affairs Programme

Concept
For this project, I created a dynamic title sequence for a current affairs, debate and discussion show.
This was created in After Effects, using a combination of animated graphics and clips of real people. A soft colour palette of blue and grey is used, along with gentle music, to suggest a calmness, and a feeling that topics will be discussed in an honest and civilised way.
Development
I created a simple shape, with multiple repeaters. I then keyframes the scale of these, to create the ‘bursting’ effect. I then used a track matte to reveal images and clips inside the shapes.
